Diagnostics
Start with activity history
Record the version and build type, symptom and an example domain if it can be disclosed. Check whether the query was blocked and by which rule. An event is recorded when the DNS decision is made: allowed does not establish that the response reached the app.
Inspection sessions
In the DNS build, single-app inspection records a diagnostic session. Stop inspection; once a file is ready, export is available through the Android system chooser. Experimental routing may also record a session. Single-app inspection is incompatible with per-app Preview.
Exports contain technical details: build, Android, device model, network, selected app, times and events. Sensitive-field redaction is applied, but the file should not be considered anonymous. Open and review it before sharing.
What not to include
Do not add passwords, keys, external-provider profiles or complete traffic captures. A public support address has not been approved and this site does not accept files. Keep the diagnostic file locally until the recipient is agreed.
Domain history and diagnostic exports are different datasets. Clearing history does not promise deletion of copies already exported. Read the draft privacy policy.
